Daily living activities
Person-centered instruction and support with activities of daily living, based on the consumer’s goals and authorized scope.
Household management
Organization, cleaning routines, household safety and maintaining the consumer’s living space.
Health and safety education, emergency preparation and medication reminders or self-management support only within permitted scope.
03Beyond the front door
Mobility & community
Mobility and transportation training
Instruction in mobility, route planning, public transit and other transportation skills as part of independent living—not a separate transportation service.
Community integration
Participation in integrated community settings, relationships, recreation and other activities chosen by the consumer.
Community and public resources
Learning how to identify, access and use relevant community and public resources.
04A voice of one’s own
Choice, progress & scope
Communication and self-advocacy
Practice expressing preferences, asking for help, understanding options and participating in decisions.
Instruction and progress
Measurable objectives, individualized teaching strategies and gradual reduction of staff prompts when appropriate.
Language capacity
English, Armenian, Russian and Persian/Farsi language capacity, subject to qualified staff availability.
Service limits
Services are not residential care, skilled nursing, crisis response, intensive behavioral treatment or 24-hour supervision.
